In case you need some extra help feeling calm and relaxed during your appointment, talk to us about our sedation dentistry options. We offer nitrous, a gas that is breathed in through a mask, and IV sedation. Nitrous is a mild sedative that relaxes you and helps dull the sounds and sensations of the dental office. You might know it by its more familiar names, "happy gas" and "laughing gas!" IV sedation provides a stronger sedative effect that will make your appointment seem to fly by. Most patients actually fall asleep during IV sedation!
In addition to these options, you'll notice that your comfort is considered in even the smallest ways. For instance, we use digital scanners so we don't need to take impressions using goopy and uncomfortable impression plates.
